Weddings

Your wedding day, is one of the most memorable of your life.

My goal, is to be your closest friend through both the process of wedding planning, and on the day as you navigate your timeline of events. In my six years of wedding portraiture, I have prided myself on my ability to smooth over any rough patches, think on my feet when your day hits small speed bumps, and still be completely present during all of the most special moments of the day.

wedding recipe for photographic success

1. Engagement Session

Choosing a package with a built in engagement session (or adding one on!) is the best way to get nice and comfy in front of the camera to prepare for your wedding day. It's also a really nice change to get to know each other, because after all, we'll be stuck together like glue from start to finish on the big day!

2. A solid timeline

We'll work together to craft the perfect wedding day timeline. I'm so ready to share with you all of the tips and tricks I've learned over the years, to create a timeline that works with our environment, light, shot list and all of the special moments that your day will bring.

3. A shot list

You know what they say, weddings and funerals bring people together. I don't want you to miss an opportunity to capture a moment with the special family and friends that you get to share this day with. Lots of people travel far and wide to make sure that they can be a witness to your union, and I want to make sure that your wedding gallery reflects the diverse group of people, from all walks of your life, who joined in on the fun!

4. Trust & Communication

The most important ingredient for a successful and smooth wedding day, is trust. My goal at the end of the day is to have made sure that you got to soak in every moment without all the stress. Trust me to guide you on our photo journey together, and I promise, you will leave with art that will last you a lifetime.

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

The amount of photos you receive largely depends on the size of the wedding package that you book. I'm a huge believe in delivering every image that you could find important, so lots of times, you'll receive worlds more than what is listed in your contract. I just can't help myself!

How do you choose a second photographer?

I choose from a pool of highly qualified photographers. The most important thing for me is to have someone working along side of me that matches my energy and is eager to do whatever it takes to be helpful, kind and calm on wedding day. Ultimately, I do all of the final edits on their shots, and include them in your gallery.

How far ahead of time should we book our wedding photographer?

I recommend booking a year to a year and a half in advance so that you have a larger pool of vendors to choose from. My dates fill up quickly, so the sooner the better!

Do you offer payment plans?

YES. I know it's a little bit of a shock to think about making the large investment you'll make towards your wedding images, BUT I offer plans that really make it a lot easier. After your initial retainer payment, I break down your remaining balance into two or three payments, spread out in the year before your wedding. The more time we have, the more help I can give you!
